BYU is going to boat race the Utes, even at Rice-Eccles, unless the Utes figure out their offense and shore up their tackling.
The Utes have 1 RB playing well (Bernard) and no healthy depth behind him. This is probably the deepest the WR and TE rooms have been in years, but the passing game has been dysfunctional and red zone production close to zero the past few games. The current version of the Utes is not scoring proficiently enough to keep pace with even average play from opponents. At least not over 4 quarters.
The Cougars are hitting on all cylinders and the Utes the opposite. The Utes better turn things around over the coming weeks or it will be ugly.
