For all you NOers, explain this…
1. Gilford to JH: “call cover 3 we’ll get an interception”
2. Glasker: “as soon as they called that, I knew I’d get a pick.
3. Glasker answering the q on pick 6 (UA): honestly it’s the coaches getting us in the right position.
4. Collins (SMU): I knew I was getting a pick.
5. Taggart (KSU): I was just in the right place, he threw it right to me, and if I hadn’t been there Tanner would have picked it.

I’ll bet I could find others or identify them watching replays.

I’m not saying that they know when, with certainty, that a pick is coming (although that has clearly already happened once) but I do wonder whether they have designed such a strong scheme that they can say, ‘ if we do this X number of times, a pick should result somewhere along the way.’

That is predicting at a functionally useful level. I think it was this kind of predictability that had Kalani so confident at the beginning of the year.

The mere fact that several posters jumped on this with “NO” proves my point about the media overlooking BYU. They think we can’t be predicted to win like this. But the team is proving them wrong.

Here’s what you have to reconcile as a doubter: do you think BYU is on a lucky streak that could come crashing down in a heartbreaking beat down by OK State?
Unless you have a better explanation than mine, you have to answer that question “yes”.
