Every year I read the Climbing Accidents of North America I’ve learned so much from other peoples mistakes. And almost
Everywhere I’ve been someone has died

Often times it’s just not paying attention, fatigue, getting lost and off route.

Every year people die rappelling because they don’t tie stopper knots at the end of the rope or the rope doesn’t reach the ground and they just rappel off the end of the rope (As I know nothing about this case, I’m not implying that anything like this happened) but it’s good to learn from others mistakes, and I’ve made plenty of my own myself
