It is a good Q. Would think some sustainable structure might be established as done in pro sports when courts weakened
their monopolistic hands. But NCAA is very weak right now and there is currently no end or any governing rules in sight. Also, Pro sports have a relatively simple ownership structure while non profit universities are among the most complex entities extant. Much harder to resolve all of the variables.

So it seems like the inflation in deals will continue to escalate for a good while, perhaps several years, until some agreed upon structure emerges or the bubble grows much bigger and pops. It often surprises how long valuation bubbles can rise and how long they can endure.

Regardless, the genie is not going back in the bottle nor the toothpaste back in the tube.
