...for a game or two but usually the teams we fall flat for are the g5 type teams like ECU, Liberty, UMass, etc, the teams we should be pounding. We usually get up for games vs teams like AZ and we certainly got up for the OK St game last year.

Another area where Kalani usually prepares his teams well for are revenge games and the OK St game definitely will be a revenge game. As for Utah, I think maybe he's gotten over the hump with Whitt but we haven't played them since the 2021 game so we'll see if the improvement by Kalani is sustainable. However, I think with all the former Ute coaches now on staff there will be a lot of chips on shoulders happening with prepping the team (especially on defense) for that game. I'm not dreading the Utah game like I usually did during the Bronco era. I think BYU and Kalani will bring it to Rice Chex.
