On our way to the Miracle Bowl
we stopped to place a $20 bet on BYU.
I don't know what came over me, I bet $500 and so my buddy did too.
We kept saying how stupid are we and threw the tickets on the ground.
Toward the end we found our tickets.
On the way home we showed the money to the other guys. The seminary principal with us us said, if I knew you could get $500 on a $20 bet, I would have bet.
OK the superstition, I committed to never bet on a BYU game again and never have.
