Schools can chose to participate in the regular season and not play in the playoffs if they have students on an F1 visa. Wasatch Academy outside of the National Independant team has done this. They have lots of kids here in School on F1 visas but they are here for school and not sports. They want to participate and play because they enjoy it, but they are not eligible for post season play.
