I played club lacrosse in the early 90s at BYU. We had a pretty good club team at the time. We had a game against Utah and we were supposed to play on the field next to the outdoor track, but it had rained and the field was a little wet. Athletic dept. at the time said we had to cancel the game. Most of the players on both teams went home before someone in the AD decided it was OK to play. Had to cobble together the guys that were still around. I guess it was actually a good thing for me as I got way more playing time than normal (I was a scrub and generally rode the bench, even though we didn’t have a bench). So anyway, Val Hale had no respect for Lacrosse so I have no respect for him. 😛
