power in the first place. It embraces the carnal nature of the characters. GoT does a great job showing what people will do for sex, and it has characters that use that to their advantage. As weird as it sounds, the sex and how it influences people is pretty important to the story being told.

They definitely could have censored it some, but you just couldn’t eliminate the sex from GoT without telling the story.
