The details of his family situation seemed a bit shady for a BYU guy. That said, I think Guy had a very high level of
integrity quite possibly — for the lifestyle that he'd come from.
There were a lot of accusations that he was a terrible position coach in terms of teaching, & that coulda been — but from what I could see, he dealt with his personnel & talent very fairly. Our best kids played, regardless of who he brought in as recruits.
