If you're worried, check the temp before you unwrap. I think as long as they are still above about 140, you'll be fine. If you need to, you can put them in the oven to heat back up.

foil first, then wrap in a towel, otherwise you get a greasy towel.

How are you resting? If you wrapped in foil, then towels and put that in a cooler, it can stay perfectly fine
