She's just saying that if we're outside the committee's top 12, but a top 5
conference champion, we're kicking out an 11th or 12th ranked team (I'm thinking of an at large SEC or B1G team with 2 or 3 losses).
My guess is, she thinks we might win the conference with a loss or two, thus not highly ranked.
