I'm pretty sure they don't even write their own music anymore. It's just extremely boring stuff. Coldplay used to write stories, but now they just produce pop fluff.

First 4 albums were perfect.

5 and 6 were decent, but had some headscratchers.

7 was meh.

8 was surprisingly interesting, in a good way. Not a fan of them venturing into the explicit realm though.

Other than Coloratura, 9 and 10 have been terrible.
