But I have spoken with people who do live there or have lived there, so unless you like chilly, rainy and sometimes tepid weather, even in the summer months, you never really find two months of great weather.

And great weather is different for everyone. I prefer it on the warmer side and don't mind even blistering heat. Anything below 50 is unpleasant for me.
