Hard 8 isn’t actually bad. But it is often put up as an example of great Texas BBQ for out of towners… which it is not.
Hard 8 is okay. I wouldn’t consider it a bad meal. But just know what it is and what it isn’t.
It definitely isn’t what you should use to compare Texas BBQ to other regions’ BBQ. Hard 8 mostly grills what they serve.
