I've always said Anae 1.0 was a great and unique offense that fit BYU's
historical talent strengths. I've yet to see anyone (even Robert himself) try it since. Part of what I like about ARod's approach is that he seems to understand the importance of a physical, downhill running game. I wish he had more ways to involve TEs and that he had done a better job recruiting more RBs this season. But the general concepts are still pretty good. i suppose it is better that the WRs have a "variety of routes to run" instead of the 4 routes that they ran under Anae 1.0.
