He had a "pedestrian" game, stats-wise against the Utes, but it could have been much bigger. For some perspective, he barely missed a pass that would have been a huge gain (or TD) in the 2nd half against Utah. Fifita just overthrew him by inches.
Fifita is the real issue for defenses - he can make every pass, seems to be really good at avoiding the pass rush, and is only getting better. He is athletic enough that he could be a running threat, but he seems to always look to pass first (even when he's pushed from the pocket). He didn't have huge stats against the Utes either, but made a few chunk passes that sealed the game.
Fifita, McMillan, and their TE (#88?) were friends in high school. They've known each other for years and their play shows it.
