I believe if he was good to play he would. I don't like the gamesmanship by Whit to keep opponents guessing, but I get it.
If the staff knew he wasn't playing and Isaac Wilson got all the snaps at practice I have no problem with it. But if he's taking first team snaps away from him, only to make a game time decision, it hurts the team.
I just feel badly for Wilson - true Freshman asked to step in with high expectations. Then asked to go for it on fourth and goal, twice. Talk about putting some pressure on him.
