I’d bet your odds of beating it aren’t good. You can also ask the prosecutor if they’ll knock down the speed a grade for you. I don’t know what value that is for your insurance. You can even plead with them for a dismissal but without doing their traffic class I doubt they’ll do that for you.

If you’re choosing to fight it, ask the local clerk of the county court or clerk magistrate if they have documentation to file a written not guilty to get it set for trial. Then if the officer doesn’t show up for trial you MIGHT get it dismissed. I don’t see officers not show up often though.

I don’t think paying an attorney is going to be wise, just cost you extra money. You might as well just represent yourself.
