I was pretty darn sure that the team was going to lose to KSU, but I found a half decent price on tickets 5 hours before the game. I have two teenagers that love BYu football, memorize the players names, watch the games on TV, etc., and decided on a whim to drop everything and head to the game.

The whole way down I tried to temper their expectations. I told them that we were going to enjoy being at the stadium and cheering the team on, but we weren’t going to have the attitude that the trip only had value if the team were to pull off a seemingly long shot upset.

To be there for a game like that was an incredible experience. I got pictures of the kids with looks of pure joy on their faces.


Yeah the team needs to improve but we are enjoying the ride this season
