Btw, I'm not saying I totally agreed with the strategy, I just don't know what evidence would actually convince you other than a complete blow out.

There were games with allgier where we went conservative and pretty much just ran it down teams throats to shorten and ended the game and it worked because our running game was so effective.

Utah has done this for years and they've won a lot.
