We were about to leave to attend our son’s Celebration of life last night. My daughter-in-law’s mom had had taken our four grandsons to SeaWorld for the afternoon. They had just gotten home. Our 2-year old grandson proceeds to throw up all over the family room couch, the family room rug, the travertine floor and all over my daughter-in-law’s mother. Fruit punch and Cheetos. The house was full of people waiting to head down to the church.

We just rolled up the rug and drug it out to the backyard and hosed it down. Same with the couch cushions. Makes for a great story when my grandson gets older.

Celebration of Life was amazing. 350 friends and family laughing, smiling, hugging and crying.

Funeral later this morning. I am still thinking that my son will come busting into the house with his huge grin at any minute.
