Add to it that they could dump that horrendous KAT contract to save them from impending cap hades, they got a very valuable Detroit first round pick, and the move to trade two draft picks way down the road for Dillingham when one of their potential weaknesses over the next couple of years was going to be trying to find a replacement for Conley…I don’t know if this was a masterful off-season for Minny, but it’s maybe about as good as could be expected given their cap and asset situation.

Hate the moves as a Jazz fan hoping for big time value firsts to be coming from Minnesota. Needed them to be in such cap hades that they were going to lose Reid and would have to replace Conley in a year or two with a cheap option or late 1st round pick. Now they’ll keep Reid and Conley is going to mentor Dillingham for 2 years.
