That first one was absolutely correct.
Fortunately for Ohtani, he had a scorching month of September and bumped his season up from great to elite. ~2.5 fWAR in a calendar month is amazing. Pretty similar season to Acuña Jr from last year now. A top ~15 season for position players over the last 20 years. The third best player in MLB this year.
