I'm wondering if AJ would have made his visit this last weekend if not for JJ.
Would have been a huge weekend to have him here with the way the football game turned out, the energy and atmosphere of it all. Add to that being able to rub shoulders with Jazz players and Coach Will Hardy, Woj, Jimmer, Ryan Smith, Danny Ainge, the whole current roster of the basketball team and coach KY all enjoying each other's company. Cosmo doing his thing.

So if he and JJ are that tight with their friendships and families, enough so for AJ and his family to have rescheduled their BYU visit to align with JJ and for that to now be their final visit, and the fact that BYU is the only college that appears in both of their respective top # lists and probably the only school prioritizing both of them, it's all the more reason to be hopeful and reasonable why BYU is being touted as the projected leader to land AJ. He had a great visit at KSU, but it's hard to believe that the official BYU visit won't match and exceed that visit. Recency bias will be a thing too, hence the benefit of being the last visit, with or without JJ.

Beyond all that, let's cross our fingers that the football game atmosphere and ROC energy vs AZ can at least come close to what it was vs KSU last weekend. If BYU holds on to win tomorrow and climbs into the top 20 in the rankings when they welcome Arizona and AJ and JJ, there's no doubt the stadium atmosphere will be just as juiced, which will bode extra well to land both of them. I've heard/read that AJ would like to be where he can experience a big time college football atmosphere as a student spectator while experiencing life as a college student athlete for a year. Obviously not the most important thing to him, but if BYU can check every other box along side that, I think BYU will be his home next year along with JJ and where he and JJ can both remain roomies and be able to come back and relive what they'll potentially experience with the LES atmosphere on October 12.
