Good point. It's even possible he was doing 2 or even 3 related things ...
1. suggesting that he run really fast to the other end zone, down that way, and

AND

2. watch out for that guy that Robertson took out at the 50, because if #11 ran into the collision pile between #0 and that one defender who went low, it might have thrown him off stride or tripped him up.

Maybe in pointing toward the 50, he was warning #11 about that particular defender and suggesting that he run AROUND the pile that #0 created in attacking that last defender.

OR

3. If #11 already noticed that the K-state defenders were taking each other out and not needing to be blocked by anyone in white (purple jerseys hitting the deck all over the place, two at a time), #61 may have also been pointing out that there would be a critical white on purple block by #0 and that this small pile needed to be avoided.

The OP helps me have a larger understanding of complementary football. There's more to it than meets the eye ...
