I think my story is that of your sons. I was about as bad as it gets from 16
years old well into adulthood. (started getting my life together around 30 or so)
My relationship with my parents was quite bad during that time (though they never gave up on me. They are the best parents ever) and now our relationship is great and my life is really good.
