It will be interesting. But IIRC, the issue with the Narita flight wasn't demand
The problem was that Delta didn't have enough plane to fly the route.
The A330 had to fly the westbound leg partly empty and with less cargo due to weight/range restrictions. Always a problem with a hot/high airport like SLC.
Assuming the demand exists, the A359 is plenty of airplane.
