parenting than I got. I'm not saying my parents were awful or anything but I imagine that I could've been much more financially successful than I currently am with better guidance than I got from my parents.
So.. will I be able to provide the financial guidance my children need that will cause them to be wildly more successful financially than myself? Maybe or maybe not?
Also.. a lot of need for one or two spouses needing to work depends on what the couple ultimately wants. Before my wife and I got married we went through a book that kind of helped us picture what we wanted out of life financially and otherwise.
Financially it went through.. did we want a Mansion? Sports car? Big boat? etc. and I think helped you to learn that hey.. you are going to have to make a lot of money if you want all this stuff.
A lot of things simply come to down priorities! I'm 40 and still trying to figure out how I should prioritize my life! Hopefully I'll get it figured out and can help my kids learn how to prioritize what's are the most important priorities! 🙂
