I remember the first time I saw it while flying in an airplane. I was convinced it was another airplane with its landing
light on.
The green and red made it seem even more likely.
It never moved though. And it didn’t make sense that a plane would have its landing lights on that high in the sky.
I have seen it countless times since.
We figured it was Venus.
