I think you have to include the inflation of tipping during COVID to help support the restaurant industry
Tipping went from a standard 15% to 20-30%.
Also to piggyback on #4, with food delivery, a tip determines if your food actually gets delivered or not. The tip is required before the worker decides to give the service.
