That could happen, but it sure doesn't look like it would happen this year or next, given that the team is likely to finish strong, and that would buy another year of struggling before Sitake's job was in jeopardy. If KS gets the team regularly to a bowl game, he's highly unlikely to lose his job until he's ready to retire. He's well-respected and liked, and seems to be a very good person, to boot, just the sort of person that the BYU wants in the job.

Assuming he wins at an acceptable rate, of course, but I suspect that rate is lower than the average CBer would want.

Meanwhile, Whittingham is very close to retirement, which is going to leave a well-paid opening under whoever comes next, probably MS.
