...he was a bad DC at BYU, again at Virginia and now is bad again at his 3rd try. Loyalty is one thing, this is odd. We saw Kalani struggle with Tuiaki as his DC and while he did more than give Tuiaki the benefit of the doubt and extra time to figure it out, in the end Kalani did what he had to to put the program first, which is how it should be.

If Bronco wanted to he could keep Howell on as a position coach and then minimize the damage by being the HC and DC like he did for much of his BYU career and that would "check the box" for loyalty. Keeping him at DC again and again with the same bad results...that's so strange.
