Is good, but if he loses a few mph in velocity, he’ll struggle to stay under 4 ERA. What he doesn’t do is have blowup games where he gives up 7-8 runs. If Woo is healthy and can improve the 3rd time through the order, Castillo will be the 5th best pitcher on the mariners next year. He might be already. He is not a Cy young caliber pitcher the last 2 years. I hope they trade him in the offseason for a 1B or 3B.

If he’s really got the attitude of “pitch tot 6 and go home”, then he sure as heck isn’t Cy young. That’s not why he’s struggling though imo. I just don’t think he’s as good as some think he is
