Not every kid is destined for academic success, even if they are bright. He may find the drive to succeed academically later on in life, or he may not. But if he learns to be a good, kind, and hard-working person he will find success.

Make him feel loved, supported in his strengths, and like a valuable member of the family he contributes to.
