Coach speak you hear every year - I have 3-4 guys I am confident in at the position.
They hoped the incoming freshman would show us something, but they certainly weren't that confident with the way Miles and Ropati got a lot more run than they did the first few games. Relying on Freshman and experienced, but relatively non-productive upperclassmen is a gamble I wouldn't be willing to take.
It may work out with Moa and Haunga showing well so far, but we will see how they do the next couple games until LJ likely returns.
