I'd say that I am solidly in the middle of the bell curve of the people I see out there. Very few people are breaking 90 and no one is breaking 80.
I typically play the back 9 very early on Saturday mornings. There are about 20-30 of us that all line up to play. Depending on my spot in line, I see a lot of people tee off and hit their approach shots. The typical drive is 210-240. I don't think I've seen anyone threaten 300. Maybe 1/8 will get a GIR after their approach shot. The green is too far away for me to tell how many puts people are taking.
It's possible that the people who get up at 6:15 am to play golf are slightly better than the average person on the course throughout the day, but it's a pretty crappy Muni course so that would bring the average down.
