1. Connor Pay said they didn’t panic when their rushes were for short yards in the 1st quarter. They trusted they could wear down the defense, and then those runs into 4+ yards.

2. Connor also said they earned the right to play well on Saturday after a great week of practice, but they gotta earn it all over again for next week. Let’s hope the rest of the team shares his mindset.
