with many on this post. No longer a believer in all the dogma, but absolutely a believer in all good / correct principles, (as well as good BYU teams - I believe in that!).
What I think is that we get engaged and interested in the players themselves, and the realization of their dreams, and once we're bought in, no "faith transition" changes that. These players are great kids, they work their butts off, and who doesn't want to cheer for that! And it just keeps perpetuating itself, when we watch young players like Prassas, Glasker, Moa, and so many others through recruiting, and then through their early years at BYU, and up through the ranks, and the fan ball just keeps rolling, no matter what religious slant you identify with.
Just hope that NIL and the TP doesn't ruin all that over time.
