but I can’t say I blame them. If I remember correctly, at one point they were averaging 7 yards per carry. At 7 yards a carry, you’re barely slowing them down.
Our defense, and hats off to them, did manage to take care of business in the red zone.
I have to admit though, until the last 2 1/2 minutes or so of the first half, I found myself waiting for the other shoe to drop.
It was a completely different game from that point on. I think the broadcast team was in shock, but I think they gave credit where credit was due. They commented on the fact that Sunshine had only thrown one interception and they only had one fumble prior to that game. I felt like they recognized BYU’s role in that, either by forcing the turnovers and/or getting completely into their heads.
