They were able to get yards, but BYU D was very stingy in the RedZone. When when they were close, they couldn't finish the drives off with a TD.
KSU dominated the clock, but never dominated the game. BYU knew they were a great running team and they schemed to limit the big plays and to keep them out of the endzone. It worked. BYU pressed the QB to force him into mistakes and then it was game over once BYU forced a couple turnovers.
BYU's offense would have had a lot more yards, but they were continually given short fields and they scored on several of those short fields. Can't fault the offense for that and say BYU lucked into a 29 point win.
