…CFB games have a tendency to take on a life of there own. Last night is a perfect example. There will be games where better teams play far below their potential, games where lesser teams rise up. Head-scratching losses, miracles wins, and even unexpected blowouts like last night or 59-0 UCLA.

With some obvious exception like Idaho State or Wagner, I can’t bring myself to “not worry” about an opponent. If the team did that, we would stack up losses all year long. Yet, we are not the team, and can be fans in any way we choose.

What you have lined out makes sense, I just can’t bring myself to think about opponents that way.
