I don’t think they are eligible this year.
I’m pretty sure James Madison is NOT eligible for NCAA Playoffs this year. When a team transitions from FCS to FBS they must wait two years to be playoff eligible. JM is in its 2nd year of transition.
Other good teams in the Sunbelt Conference that BYU fans are aware of include Troy, Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina.
