RB is a position where as a freshman you can demonstrate that
you're a potential "star" whereas other positions do require time.
Jamal Willis (1991), Ronney Jenkins (1996), Luke Staley (1999), Harvey Unga (2007) & Jamaal Williams (2012) showed their freshman year that they had "it". I would add that Marcus Whalen (2000) & Curtis Brown (2002) showed glimpses as well.
I'll happily eat crow but from fall reports & the first three games of this season it looks like we're in trouble without LJ Martin.
