My thoughts - The Ute mascot is between the UofU and the Ute tribe . . . Everyone else should let them figure it out on their own.

Having some white girl report on the relationship without a single quote or sit down talk with the UofU, their Tribal engagement, or quotes from the Ute tribe leadership is dumb. How about we stop having white people tell these tribes what they want.

The newest Indian tribe is the "Little shell tribe of Chippewa Indians". Please note, they don't want to be called Native Americans.
