That was 2022. In 2023 he got hurt and had a 172 wRC+, equal to Ohtani’s 2024 wRC+
Which of course is a rate stat. It’s more impressive to stay healthy. But the point is that the season this guy thinks was bad was equal on a rate basis to Ohtani’s crazy 2024 season
