Navajo, his children 1/4 Navajo. He has taught them Navajo traditions, and hopes they will pass them down to their children. Most of them will most likely not marry anyone with Navajo blood or upbringing, and in a few generations the Navajo ancestry will be nothing more than family history.

But he has also served as Elder's Quorum president in the ward twice, and relates many Navajo traditions to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has been a great blessing to have him and his family in our ward.
