The defense basically showed that instead of having a range from bad to good with mediocre most likely, the range for this D now has a FLOOR of mediocre and a ceiling of Really good. The offense is still in the same range for me.
If I had to guess I would say the likelihood of a really good D is higher than a mediocre D. We will see.
So you say 3 point win, and I say we showed marked improvement from the preseason prognostication because our O looks about what we thought they might be and our D looks much better than we thought they would be.
