I remember many years ago listening to the post game show after a game. I'd might have been listening at home, but I believe it was after a home game that BYU won.
A fellow with a voice that sounded aged called into the show and he was very, very angry. He explained to Paul James and Marc Lyons that he would prefer to see BYU pass the ball more and lose than watch them continue to run so much and win.
I was a teenager or in my early 20s at the time. Until then, I still had the impression that all adults were magically wise. That call was an eye-opener.
That caller has been joked about many times in the decades since then. How could anyone have such a ridiculous attitude?
Well, I think we're there again.
I even saw a complaint on CB regarding the TD pass to Epps. The ball was too far in front or behind Epps and that caused him to stumble... yeah, Epps caught the ball, took a step, and stumbled over his own feet before sneaking into the edge of the end zone and it was a bad pass from Retzlaff. BOO!!!
