Are you just connecting through or are you flying in and out of the airport matters as well. TBIT at LAX is nice and at least now you can walk between all terminals. D and E gates at LAS are fine. EWR has a new terminal. Too much construction at JFK. It's been awhile since I flew through ORD or CDG.

Compared to airports in Asia, most big US airports are pretty bad.
